January 20 at Sarasota National.     NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2008 MEMBERSHIP Gulf Coast Seniors has been formed to provide senior golfers (age 50 and older) an opportunity to meet and compete with other seniors in the Sarasota, Florida area. We have made arrangements to schedule tournaments at many of the finest courses in the area at competitive prices. The courses selected are a comfortable drive from Sarasota, situated minutes from I75. Tournaments will be held every week from early January through March. Greens fees quoted will include cart, tax and prizes. GCSGA is catering to amateur golfers and anticipates a wide range of ability. Established handicaps will be used in an effort to equalize golfers. In a further effort to equalize, membership will be divided into three age groups: A group – 50 through 60; B group - 61 through 70; C group – 71 and older. Prizes will be awarded in each age group for Low Gross, Low Net, 2nd Low Net, and closest to the pin on a selected par 3 hole.
